Privacy Policy

This notice describes data handling for the current OldSchoolCalc website and its public calculators.

Calculator inputs

The public XP, Combat and Dry calculators run their calculations in your browser. They do not require a RuneScape login or fetch your player account. Do not enter passwords, recovery codes or payment information. The Copy results button writes the displayed summary to your clipboard when you select it.

Website requests and hosting

When you visit a page, your browser sends information needed to request and deliver it, including your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time. Our hosting and website infrastructure may process access and error logs to deliver the site, diagnose problems and prevent abuse. These website requests are separate from the calculator arithmetic performed in your browser.

Cookies and browser controls

WordPress and installed website services may use cookies or similar browser storage for their functions. Administrative sign-in uses authentication cookies; a game-account login is not part of the public calculators. You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking necessary storage can affect sign-in or other website functions.

Third-party services

The design requests the IM Fell English font through Google Fonts. Loading an externally hosted font sends a request from your browser to the font service. The website also loads Hostinger Reach integration code. These services can receive request and browser information when their resources load. Their processing is governed by their own policies.

Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Hostinger’s Privacy Policy for information about those providers. Links to the OSRS Wiki and other external websites take you to services that control their own data practices.

Forms and accounts

There is currently no public contact form, newsletter signup or visitor account registration on the launch pages. The Contact page remains unpublished while message delivery is being configured. We do not ask visitors to provide a RuneScape password.

Retention and future changes

Calculator entries are not submitted to us as an account record by these three tools. Hosting logs and third-party service records are subject to the configuration and retention practices of their providers; this notice does not promise a fixed deletion period for those records. We will update this page when public forms, analytics, advertising or other data-handling features change.
